The 2024 Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair recorded by far a new attendance record of 861,425 visitors for the 10-day event, which ended on Saturday.
The 2022 fair attracted 776,195 visitors, which was the previous record. Last year’s fair brought 739,315 visitors.
The first Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair was held in 2021.
The Wilson County Fair’s peak attendance prior to the partnership was 589,229 in 2013.
Officials said the 2024 fair had welcomed over 501,000 visitors on Wednesday, three days before its end.
Dry weather, collaboration with the State Fair and a focus on showcasing all 85 Tennessee counties and offering daily variety and a wide range of opportunities have contributed to the increased attendance, said Randall Clemons, president of Wilson County Promotions.
