Welcome to the jungle: Director Ahmed Khan reacts to reports of the film being cancelled

One of the most awaited films of the year is Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. Recently, fans have been quite worried after speculations started to surface that the film might be shelved. Meanwhile, the makers of the upcoming action comedy have released a previously unseen picture from the shooting, putting an end to all the rumours. Rumours had it that Jio Studios had pulled out of the film.

An official statement revealed that the film’s marathon schedule in Mumbai and Kashmir will be completed in August. It has also been reported that the film’s international marathon schedule will begin in October. Director Ahmed Khan also cleared the recent viral reports and said, “There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on schedule and we will start the next leg of the international marathon schedule from October for which my technical team has already left for the first reconnaissance.”

One must remember that the anticipation for this film is already huge, given the enormous production scale, the huge set and the huge cast with 34 prominent actors. The makers have already completed 70% of the filming.

The third part of Welcome To The Jungle has been making headlines ever since its announcement. The film has been produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah and stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Johnny Lever, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Mika Singh and Daler Mehndi, to name a few.
