The Ride Guys, a duo that hosts a series of attraction-related videos for Universal Orlando Resort’s official YouTube account, will air a video featuring Stardust Racers this Friday, August 16.

Stardust Racer

Stardust Racers is a dual-track roller coaster where, as the name suggests, the cars run on both tracks simultaneously, allowing guests to race against each other, similar to the previous Dueling Dragons in Islands of Adventure or the Gemini in Cedar Point. It will be located in Celestial Park, the main hub of Epic Universe, when it opens in summer 2025.

The front of the roller coaster car features a bright, blue-framed nose with a swirling light effect.

Upon closer inspection, the bright red color of the headrest stands out. There is a speaker on either side, while a planet-like design surrounds the Celestial Park symbol in the center. The logo features constellations around a capital C with a small P in a circle to the right of it.

Other details that have already been revealed include a light feature, possibly on the back of the roller coaster car, but the location of this was unclear in the teaser video. The light bars are arranged in two circles. Another circle in the top left represents a sun.

More star details were highlighted, including those on the left side, which glowed in different colors. A close-up of another star detail against a gold trim was shown, although it was not clear where on the car it is located. The glow features are designed to create a special effect at night, while the track itself is not illuminated to create a comet-like illusion.

Stardust Racers was originally called Starfall Racers, but Universal had to change the name of the roller coaster after a legal dispute.
