Thanks to Airbnb, you don’t have to shrink down to the size of a Polly Pocket to live like them.
The rental platform announced on Wednesday that it has built a life-sized, two-story Polly house to celebrate its 35th anniversary. ’90s kids might recognize the look of the rental property.
Standing 42 feet tall and shaped like a seashell, the house is a replica of the 1994 Polly Pocket Slumber Party Fun treasure chest, even complete with fake TVs, books and Polly clothes.
Guests staying at the Littleton, Massachusetts, home can get ready at Polly’s vanity, kick back on the pull-out sofa, peek into the vintage refrigerator, make custom charm bracelets and even take a stroll to Polly’s life-sized tent outside. There are also “a few hidden surprises” waiting, according to Airbnb.

“I wanted this slumber party to feel like it was still in the 90s!” reads the list written by Polly. “Just imagine – crafts, retro snacks, Polaroid cameras… it’s going to be AWESOME. Basically, I turned my Slumber Party Fun compact into a time machine where you can let your imagination run wild. Because there’s no greater adventure than the one you create for yourself.”
Airbnb says those “ready to become a doll for a day” can request a night in Polly’s home starting August 21 at 6 a.m. PT and ending August 28 at 11:59 a.m. PT at airbnb.com/pollypocket. These stays will run from September 12 to 14 for four guests per night and cost $89 per person, which Airbnb says is a nod to Polly’s birth in 1989.
However, those who can’t get an overnight stay can book day experiences while other bookings are open. There will be 21 spots for 12 guests each, running from September 16 to October 6, Airbnb said.
“I can’t wait for you to come over and celebrate my birthday in my most epic apartment ever,” Polly said, according to an Airbnb press release. “Let’s have a really fun slumber party in my hometown of Littleton where we make the ordinary extraordinary… The fun is endless!”

The Polly Pocket house is reminiscent of last year’s Airbnb listing that brought to life the home of another Mattel character: Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse, Ken’s Way.
But this year, the Polly home is part of Airbnb Icons, which includes several other properties honoring names in the entertainment industry. So far, visitors have been able to stay at the “Up” house — and yes, it floats — the Ferrari Museum, Prince’s “Purple Rain” house, the “Inside Out 2” headquarters and more.
And the best part? Most icons are free and cost less than $100 per guest.
