As The Post has confirmed, a groom-to-be was killed in a horrific wrong-way driving accident in Manhattan early Saturday morning – just one day before his wedding.

Kirk Walker, 38, of Manhattan, was celebrating his bachelor party before his wedding with his cousin Rob McLaurin, 40, when their Dodge Challenger was struck by a pickup truck heading the wrong way on Henry Hudson Parkway in Harlem, according to a Facebook post.

According to his wedding website, Walker was scheduled to marry on Sunday.

A representative of the Royal Manor in Garfield, New Jersey – the wedding venue – confirmed that the ceremony was canceled due to a “fatal accident.”

According to police and other sources, Walker and McLaurin were driving a black and orange Dodge Challenger north on the Henry Hudson Parkway near West 154th Street around 2:20 a.m. when they were struck head-on by a pickup truck speeding down the highway.

Both men died in the violent collision, which caused the large Challenger to crumble into a splintered metal ball.

One woman described Walker on social media as the “neighborhood ‘nephew’ of all the buddies in the neighborhood” who went out for his bachelor party – he was supposed to get married on Sunday, she wrote.

“His cousin from North Carolina who came to the wedding also died,” the woman, Alexis Stewart, wrote on Facebook.

Meanwhile, the driver of the fatal wrong-way pickup truck is still at large – he and his passenger fled shortly after the accident.

However, the passenger was caught about ten meters from the scene of the accident and taken to a local hospital.
