Bachelorette Fans believe Marcus Shoberg isn’t that into Jenn Tran
Devin Stader is the clear favorite to win Jenn Tran’s heart. Season 21 of The Bachelorette started with 22 men hoping to find love with Jenn Tran. Only three remain: Devin, Marcus Shoberg and Jonathon Johnson. However, some viewers don’t believe Marcus actually has feelings for Jenn.
A Bachelor Nation fan took to Reddit after the final episode in which Jeremy Simon was eliminated. “I just got around to watching the episode. Marcus looked when his name was called as if he was saying, ‘Damn, I did everything and she still chose me.’ He just didn’t look like someone who was excited to spend more time with someone he would actually consider a future with.” You have written a post to discuss your opinion.

- She likes Marcus more than he likes her. Devin likes her more than she likes him. Jonathon is just a support at this point.
- He is 100% not nearly as committed as she is and I think he was hoping someone would point that out to him so he wouldn’t have to say it directly. I don’t see the chemistry but I think she wants to be the one to “fix” him and be there for him. Aside from their unconventional backgrounds, I don’t even feel like they know each other personally.
- If Marcus hadn’t said he was falling in love with you, he would probably be the one sent home, not Jeremy! But at the same time, I feel like Jenn kind of likes his unattainability.

Possible motives for joining the ABC show
At least one candidate is accused of not participating in seasons of The Bachelor or Bachelorette for the right reasons. Sources close to Marcus Shoberg revealed Life & Style about his alleged true intentions.
“Not everyone goes on the show for love and Marcus is not there for love. He is there to be admired and maybe even become the next Bachelor.”
His ex speaks out
A former military veteran also spoke with Life & Style. They revealed that they had been in contact with Marcus shortly before he left for filming and he had made it clear that he was not ready for marriage.
“He made excuses like he wanted to work on his career, save money, etc. And then he went straight on the show! There’s no way he’s there to get married. If he wasn’t ready a week before filming, why would he be ready now?”
