It’s no wonder that Concord isn’t doing so well on Steam right now. Sony Interactive Entertainment’s new first-party live service shooter has less than 700 simultaneous players at peak times since launching on Valve’s PC platform – at the time of writing, there are 340 players, with 437 players at its peak in the last 24-hour period.
Valve publishes its best-selling games on Steam in a 1-100 list, but there is also an expanded list that includes all of the platform’s games from best-selling to worst-selling. Out of curiosity, I decided to take that list and enter it into Excel, just to see where Concord stands.
The results are quite interesting. In my opinion, Firewalk’s new hero shooter is #511 in Steam top sellersThat’s hundreds of places behind Sony’s other big live game hit Helldivers 2 at number 23.
It is unclear how well the game will perform on PlayStation 5 in terms of actual sales, but Concord seems to be doing much better on the PS Store. The game is currently the #42 best-selling game on the PlayStation Store on PS5close confrontation with WWE2K24 and Need For Speed Unbound.
However, Helldivers 2 is ranked 33rd on the PlayStation Store.
Neither Sony Interactive Entertainment nor Firewalk have commented on sales or player statistics, but the fact that the game is among the top 50 best-selling games on the PS Store could be a positive for the developer and publisher, especially given the number of posts discussing the apparent end of Concord on PC.
