Georgia’s week one clash with Clemson is less than two weeks away, and here’s the team that will be commentating on the game.
The college football offseason is officially over as teams have begun preparations for their Week 0 and Week 1 matchups. As players, coaches and fans prepare for their first games of the season, television networks also begin preparations by announcing the broadcast teams that will provide commentary on certain games.
ESPN recently announced who will be in the locker room for Georgia and Clemson’s week one clash. Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy will commentate on the game, while Molly McGrath will provide sideline reporting.
Bulldog fans should be familiar with the work of McDonough and McElroy, as the two have been involved in some Georgia broadcasts in the past. McDonough was the live commentator for the Bulldogs’ last meeting, a 63-3 loss to Florida State in last season’s Orange Bowl, and McElroy was the co-commentator for Georgia’s victory over rival Georgia Tech at the end of the 2023 regular season.
Kickoff for the Dawgs-Tigers clash is currently scheduled for 12:00 p.m. in Atlanta, Georgia. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since the Dawgs’ victory over Clemson in the 2021 season opener.
