The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Chester Wayne Johnson40, 3508 Goodley Road, Sulphur – two counts of simple criminal damage over $1,000 but less than $50,000; resisting an officer; theft over $1,000 but less than $5,000; disturbing the peace. Bail: $32,500.

Devin Quinn Joseph32, 212 W. 11th St. – illegal possession of stolen firearms, first-time offender; direct contempt of court; possession of a firearm or concealed carrying of a weapon by a person convicted of certain crimes. Bail: $80,000.

Brent Allen Touchett47, 3149 David Road, Westlake – Bank Fraud. Bail: $17,500.

Jared Christian Hightower44, 2625 Country Club Road – Failure to complete any work within 45 days or more after payment is received, unless a longer period is specified in the contract. Security deposit: $5,500.

Charles Edward Butler58, 718 Rosalie St. – Lack of required home improvement and residential construction license required under applicable state and municipal laws.

Jaubari Labrandon Lastrape17, 1614 15th St. – simple criminal damage under $1,000, assault on a correctional employee.
