Based on the novel of the same name by Karen M. McManus, One of us is lying is a Peacock original that follows five high school students who are stuck in detention together, but one of them dies in the process. Then the four find themselves in the middle of a lengthy investigation where anything can happen.
With two seasons I actually think One of us is lying is the best show if you Really want something like A guide to murder for good girls. It’s dramatic, has good suspense, a great story and features teenagers trying to solve a murder – so it has everything you could want.

Cruel Summer (2021 – 2023)
If you are looking for a secret that will take you back in time, then Cruel summer is the right thing for you. Set in the 1990s, this is an anthology of teen drama and mystery that tells two distinct stories – the disappearance of a girl and how another seems to take her place in Season 1, and the development of a friendship that changes lives forever in Season 2.
Honestly, I will never forgive Hulu for canceling this series after two seasons, because the premise itself is intriguing and the mysteries are entertaining You’ll find something new to like about both seasons, and you’ll be on my side when you’ve seen all 20 episodes and are hungry for more.

Nancy Drew (2019 – 2023)
From course, I had to Nancy Drew here. The CW series, based on the crime novels of the same name, is a drama about a teenage detective who investigates one mystery after another, getting herself into danger, conspiracy, and more.
I’m pretty sure I would have been criticized if I hadn’t put Nancy Drew here for some reason. I have to say, I don’t think the secrets in this show are quite as dense as in Guide for good girls, but they are super entertaining, and you will fly through the four seasons.

Pretty Little Liars (2010 – 2017)
Oh what. pretty Little Liars was one of the biggest shows of all time when it came out on Freeform. It follows a group of friends over the course of several years who are threatened by an anonymous person named “A” who is hiding secrets from them. And it’s up to them to find out who is threatening them.
Based on the novels of the same name, pretty Little Liars was a phenomenon on television in my younger years and into my freshman year of college. Everyone talked about this show for all seven seasons, even though the story got weird towards the end. Still, it’s a good mystery and one you should watch. We had people come up with theories for hours to who the identity of AD was.

Riverdale (2017 – 2023)
Okay, hear me out on this. Riverdale was one of the best CW shows is set over a period of time and is based on the Archie comics. It is about a group of teenagers living in the titular town and their experiences not only with high school and romance, but also with death and many mysteries.
Special, The first two seasons of this series are great. Riverdale is a series that became increasingly strange over time and the plot was lost. However, the first two seasons were solid Mysteries and fun to watch. After that, it might be best to move on to another crime series from this list.

Wednesday (2022 – today)
Of course you have heard of Wednesday. It would be shocking if you hadn’t. The Netflix series, based on the The Addams Family The characters follow daughter Wednesday, who attends Nevermore Academy and sets out to solve a crime while dealing with all the sad drama that comes with being a teenager at a school for supernatural phenomena.
Wednesday was monumental for many reasons. The Wednesday pour is talented, the story was fascinating, and of course we must not forget all the viral moments that everywhere when this show came out. We are all eagerly awaiting Wednesday Season 2so watch the first season.

The Afterparty (2022 – 2023)
A comedic crime thriller, The after-party is one of The best shows from Apple TV+Each season tells a different story, one about a class reunion, one about a wedding, with each episode taking the perspective of a different person to find out who the killer is.
This is another case where this show could have run for years if it had gotten more publicity, because it is so funny. The cast makes the crime thrillers even better, but the curiosity will still be so great that you will want to solve the mysteries yourself from your couch.

School Spirit (2023 – present)
With Peyton List, School spirits is a supernatural teen drama about a teenager who doesn’t believe she’s dead, but eventually decides to investigate her own disappearance since she finds herself stuck in the afterlife – more specifically, in the high school in the afterlife.
This show has everything you’re looking for – mystery, murder, secrets, lies, the supernatural, and more. It’s been renewed for a second season, so you might as well watch the first one.

Veronica Mars (2004 – 2019)
With Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars is a teen noir mystery drama that reveals new mysteries with each season, each time from the perspective of teenage (later adult) detective Veronica Mars.
The series had an incredibly loyal fan base during its airing, and although it initially only ran for three seasons, it was brought back for a movie in 2014 and had a fourth season in 2019, with Bell reprising the role for eight episodes.

Yellowjackets (2021 – present)
Last but not least, we need to talk about Yellow jackets, one of the best Showtime shows ever. The series jumps back and forth between two timelines: the 1990s, when a high school football team crash-lands in the mountains of Canada and must do whatever it takes to survive, and the present day, where the women on that trip are adults and are struggling with the aftermath of said crash years later.
What I love about Yellow Jackets is that even now, after two seasons, there is still So many puzzles to solve. It feels like when one is solved, another is waiting just around the corner, and that is what makes this show so Good. Yellow Jackets Season 3 is confirmed, so you should check out the first two.
